MacClenny, FL – Johnny Calvin Nobles, Sr., 84, of MacClenny, FL passed away Wednesday (July 2, 2025) at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Live Oak, FL his parents were Johnny Raymond Nobles and Elsie Elizabeth Stegman Nobles. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, James Darrell Nobles, Jr.; 2 sisters, Marie Thomas and Alberta Anderson; and 2 brothers, Bert Anderson and Edward Sowell.
Johnny was a carman for Norfork Southern Railroad and enjoyed being a backyard mechanic, tinkering and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Nobles of MacClenny, FL; 5 sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny-Todd Nobles (Rhonda) of MacClenny, FL, Douglas Scott Nobles of TN, Johnny Calvin Nobles, Jr. (Amy) of Middleburg, FL, James Darrell Nobles, Sr. (Michelle) of Middleburg, FL and Jeffery Raymond Nobles of MacClenny, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina Carver (Randy) of Nichols, GA; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service Saturday morning (July 5, 2025) starting at 10:30am at Bethlehem Cemetery.
A graveside service will be held Saturday morning (July 5, 2025) at 11am at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
