John Thomas Wilson

Hortense- Dr. John Thomas Wilson, 77 of Hortense, passed away Friday morning (December 24, 2021) at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Tucson, Arizona, his parents were Richard Boles Wilson and Annie Mae McCorkle Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Wilson; and his sister, Shree Reynolds.
Dr. Wilson worked many years as a Dentist and was a member of CenterPoint Church in Brunswick. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, reading, making jewelry, and loved spending time with his family. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Paige Boulineau Wilson, of Hortense; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, David Wilson, of Brunswick, and Ashley Ferrell (Leslie), of Hortense; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Heather Sholander (Josh), of Rockville, MD., Lindsey Parks (Shawn), of Hortense, and Catherine Wainright (Wil), of Bachlott; 8 grandchildren, Malaia Rose Ferrell, Jacquline Lois Sholander, Sawyer Brynn Ferrell, Natalie Emma Wilson, Harlynn Parks, Wilson Anthony Wainright, Renee Elise Sholander, and Conrad Thomas Wainright; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Boles Wilson, Jr. (Anne), Charlie Claude Wilson (Karen), all of Tucson, AZ; a brother-in-law, Bill Reynolds, also of Tucson, AZ. Also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (December 29, 2021) from 5-6:30PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A Memorial Service will held Wednesday (December 29, 2021) at 6:30PM at Frye Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Guffey and Pastor Emily Rewis officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of South Georgia; 1625 Sunset Boulevard, Jesup, GA. 31545.
