Hortense – John Harold Hite, 55, of Hortense passed away Monday afternoon (December 16, 2019) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Born in Warsaw, IN his parents were Everett Hite and Barbara Lee Hite.
John was a carpenter and loved spending time with his family, fishing, and building things.
Survivors include 2 stepchildren, Terri Roberts (Corey) and Tammi Westberry (Herschel Wheatley) all of Waynesville; 3 grandchildren, Corey Roberts, Jr., Gannon Roberts, and Marlin Hite; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Hite (Darlene) and Richard Hite (Mona) all of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
No services will be held at this time.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
