Jimmie Crews

Nahunta-Jimmie "Skinner" Crews, 63 of Nahunta, passed away Tuesday (April 9, 2013) at Satilla Hospice in Waycross, following an extended illness. Born in Winokur Ga., his parents were Frank and Myrtle Hickox Crews. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Thomas Buck Crews, and Ira Crews; & 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Lucille (Gene) Webb, Louise Elaine "Bug" Boland. Jimmie attended Nahunta Church of God. He was a farmer who enjoyed fishing, mowing, and loved flowers. Survivors include 2 sisters-in-law, Pauline Crews, of Nahunta, Joanne Crews, of Claxton. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Visitation will be held Thursday (April 11, 2013) from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Memorialization will be by cremation.
