Jessica Jordan Sapp

Hortense – Jessica Jordan Roberson Sapp, 38, of Hortense passed away early Tuesday morning (November 11, 2025) at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a brief illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents are Margaret Manning Lewis and the late Michael Leslie Roberson. She is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, J.P. and Jeanette Manning; and her paternal grandfather, Alvin L. Roberson.

Jessica was a case manager at Action Pact who loved spending time with her children, her mother and hanging out with her best friends, Destiny and Kristin. She enjoyed watching movies, cooking, riding buggies and talking to anyone who would listen.

Survivors include her husband, Logan Sapp of Hortense; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Aiden Petersen (Cassidy) of Brunswick and Shevy Sapp of Blackshear; 3 daughters, Amaya Petersen, Mia Sapp and Emma Sapp all of Hortense; her mother and stepfather, Margaret Lewis (Joe) of Hortense; brother and sister-in-law, Justin Roberson (Rachel) of Hortense; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marie & Johnny Herrin; her aunt who was like her mother, Ruby Oliver (John) of Hortense; her uncle, Joey Manning (Margie); special cousins who were like her siblings, Stacey, Stephanie, Samantha, Selina, J.C., Aletra (James), J.P. and Josh; special friends, Destiny & Billy Lowman and Kristin & Jeffrey Wildes; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening (November 13, 2025) from 6pm-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (November 14, 2025) at 2pm at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Hortense Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Lowman, Chris Byrd, Timmy Byrd, Lawton O’Berry, Pete Kemp and Jeffrey Wildes.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
