Jesse Ray Lewis

Hinesville – Jesse Ray Lewis, 40, of Hinesville passed away Monday morning (July 5, 2021) at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after an extended illness.
Born in Douglas, GA his parent are Diane Lee Lewis of Hoboken and the late Eddie Lewis. He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Isaiah & Beatrice Lewis; and his maternal grandparents, Lester & Yona Faye Lee.
Jesse was of the Baptist faith and a 2000 graduate of Brantley County High School. He loved to laugh, joke around, being around family and friends and loved all children. Jesse also enjoyed being outdoors, riding bikes, watching TV and playing video games.
Survivors include his mother, Diane Lewis of Hoboken; 3 brothers, Wayne Lewis and David Lewis both of Hoboken and Daniel Anderson of Pooler, GA; his sister and brother-in-law, Marie & Troy Hickox of Hortense; 4 nephews, Dustin Lewis of Waycross, Blake Lewis of Hoboken, Dalton Hickox of Hortense and Isaiah Lewis of Hoboken; 5 nieces, Deziree Hickox of Hortense, Tamara Lewis, Annie Lewis and Kassie Lewis all of Hoboken and Nevaeh Crews of Waycross; and also several aunts, uncles, cousin and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held Friday afternoon (July 9, 2021) at 2pm at High Bluff Cemetery in Hoboken with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service starting at 1:30pm at High Bluff Cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
