Jeffrey Edmund Wilson

Nahunta- Jeffrey Edmund Wilson, 42 of Nahunta, passed away early Tuesday morning (January 2, 2024) at his residence.

Born in Waycross, GA., his parents are Corbet Lonnie Wilson and Lulu Gale Hendrix Wilson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lonnie Wilford Wilson and Gladys Roberts Wilson; maternal grandparents, Rev. Ronald Hendrix, Sr. and Betty Herrin Hendrix; also several aunts and uncles.

Jeffrey worked many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, collecting antiques and loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his two children, Kyler Nichols of Hortense, GA and Desiree Nacole Wilson of Folkston; his parents, Corbet and Lulu Wilson of Nahunta; his brother and sister-in-law, Chris Wilson (Jennifer) of Twin Rivers; his sister, Becky Wilson Lane of Raybon; nieces and nephews, Kayla Wilson Arnold (J.C.), Corey Wilson, Jayden Lane and Alyssa Wilson; his great nephew, Griffin Arnold and great niece, Gracie Arnold. Also several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon (January 4, 2024) from 2PM-3PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday afternoon (January 4, 2024) at 3PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bro. David Herrin, Rev. Mike Hendrix and Rev. Bruce Dean officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Corey Wilson, Jayden Lane, J.C. Arnold, Mike Turner, Chris Boatright and Jeremy Brooker.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
