Jeanette St. Onge Copeland

Folkston- Jeanette St. Onge Copeland, 78 of Folkston, passed away Sunday (February 18, 2018) at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Chesterfield, MO, her parents were John C. St. Onge and Eleanor S. Halbach St. Onge. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Copeland; her brother, John St. Onge; and her sister, Violet Meyer.

Jeanette was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church and worked many years as an RN. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Sawyer (Mike), of Callahan, FL; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Lucas, of Folkston, and Steve Lucas (Cindy), of Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Sawyer, Marilee Haines, Lee Ann Williams, Crystal Reese, Mandy Shoemaker, and Amber Lucas; 15 great grandchildren. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (February 21, 2018) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday (February 22, 2018) at 4PM at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
