Jeanette Kingery Altman

Waverly- Jeanette Marcel Kingery Altman, 72 of Waverly, passed away Saturday (November 26, 2022) at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, following an extended illness.

Born in Ronake, VA., her parents were Abe Lewis Kingery and Louise Mae Guilliams Kingery. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Eugene Altman.

Jeanette worked many years as Chief Assistant at Durango and loved fishing and the outdoors. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin Kingery (Lisa), of Blackshear and Perry Kingery (Cathy), of Florida; a sister, Mary “Kitty” Stanley, of Hephzibah, GA. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

No services will be held at this time.
