James Clarence Sinclair

Patterson – James Clarence Sinclair, 85, of Patterson passed away Thursday evening (April 20, 2023) at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a brief illness.

Born in Patterson, GA his parents were James Ottis Sinclair and Bertha Lee Griffis Sinclair. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Jack Sinclair.

James was a contractor and a member of Pleasant Hill. He loved fishing and being by his pond.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene Sinclair of Patterson; a son and daughter-in-law, James Sinclair, Jr. (Diane) of Brunswick; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Rose Sinclair, Donna Hollis (Randall) and Tina Ford (Jeff) all of Brunswick; a 2 stepsons, Ronnie Johnson(Linda) of Baxley and  Jackie Johnson of Blackshear; a stepdaughter, Joann Norfleet of Waynesville; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Peacock of Patterson; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Tracey Sinclair (Deborah) of Blackshear, Curt Sinclair (Linda) of Patterson and Eugene Sinclair (Kathy) of Wilmington, NC; and  also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A private  memorial service will be held at a later date.
