Ida Faye Anderson

Nahunta – Ida Faye Leroy Anderson, 86, of Nahunta passed away Friday afternoon (September 27, 2019) at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after an extended illness.

Born in Stevenson, AL her parents were John Daily Leroy and Emily Cookston Leroy. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Robert Anderson.

Mrs. Ida was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and reading.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rex & Donna Anderson of Nahunta; 5 grandchildren, Brennen Rexford Anderson of Orlando, FL, Connor Edward Anderson of Gastonia, NC, Amber Nicole Baugus of Henderson, TN, Ashley Michelle Baugus of Nahunta and Autumn Brooke Ballard (Steve) of Pickwick, TN; a great granddaughter, Mary Addison Franks of Henderson, TN; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Carolyn Leroy of Nashville, TN; a sister, Emily Jo Harris of Jasper, TN; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Sunday afternoon (September 29, 2019) at 2pm at Little Buffalo Creek Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rhoden officiating. Visitation will be held 30mins prior to the service at the cemetery.
