Hoke Smith Joyner, Jr.

Hoboken- Hoke Smith Joyner, Jr., 80 of Hoboken, passed away Saturday (March 23, 2024) at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Born in Nashville, GA., his parents were Hoke Smith Joyner, Sr. and Nancy Loudell Harrell Joyner. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Tyre Joyner; his daughter, Lisa Marie Joyner Smith; and 3 siblings, Hollis Lavon Joyner, Harold Cager Joyner, and Sandra Dale Joyner.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Joan Joyner Parrish, of Titusville, FL., and Betty Joyner Pittman (Robert), of Hoboken; son-in-law, Tony Smith, of Waycross; three grandchildren, Bubba Smith, Rachel Joyner and Renee Joyner; and three great grandchildren. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

No services will be held at this time.
