Helen Juanita Clemons

Hickox – Helen Juanita Rehberg Clemons, 92, of Hickox passed away Tuesday morning (July 9, 2019) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Coolidge, GA her parents were Herbert Harvey Rehberg and Kittie Murphy Rehberg. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Todd Clemons; a son, James Derrell Strickland; 4 brothers, Harvey, Willie, Rudolph, and W.H.; and a sister, Zadie.

Helen was a beautician for 52 years and was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, canning, sewing, fishing, and gardening.

Survivors include her 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Alice Baum and Daphne & James Dinkins all of Hickox; 8 grandchildren, Gil, Tammy Donna, Allen, James, Jimmy, Cheryl, and Elaine; many great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Morris of Ochlocknee, GA; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Saturday morning (August 3, 2019) at 10am at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 20627 US-319 Coolidge, GA 31739.
