Gregory Lowell Allen

Jesup- Gregory Lowell Allen, 73 of Jesup, passed away Saturday (September 24, 2022) at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup.

Born in Crawfordsville, IN., his parents were the late Lowell “Glen” Allen and Charlotte Wilson Allen.

Greg graduated from Apopka High School and went on to attend Wabash College and Rollins college where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1971. He owned Great Southern Gold Jewelry Store in Brunswick for about ten years and retired from United States Postal Service after over 25 years. He attended Little Memorial Baptist Church and loved spending time with his grandbabies and family.

Survivors include his wife, Tiffany Daniels Allen, of Jesup; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Glenn Martin Allen, of Panama City Beach, FL., Joshua Lowell Allen (Katy), of Brunswick, GA; two stepchildren, David Austin Thomas, of Hortense, Chelsi Marie Thomas, of Jesup; seven grandchildren, Caleb Allen, Sarah Allen, Emily Allen, Skarlett Buchanan, Quincy Buchanan, Hazel Grace Knight, and Leon Wilson-Thomas; a sister, Susan Allen, of Crawfordsville, IN.; and two nieces, Shannon Connelly Field, of North Little Rock, AR., and Lauren Field, of Chicago. Also several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday (October 5, 2022) at 6:30PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Brown officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
