Greg Middleton

Bachlott- Benjamin Gregory “Greg” Middleton, 73 of Bachlott, passed away Monday (February 26, 2024) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.

Born in Hortense, GA., his parents were Howard Adams Middleton and Daisy Drury Middleton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Johns Middleton; and his son, Jamin Middleton.

Greg graduated from Brantley County High School in 1968 and was the Owner of Middleton Logging for many years. He was a member of Hickox Christian Faith Chapel. He enjoyed watching documentaries, cruising the roads, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and loved to talk.

Survivors include his son, Jason Middleton of Bachlott; 7 grandchildren, Chevi Middleton (Jennifer) of Bachlott, George Middleton (Emily) of Hoboken, Garrett Able also of Hoboken, Bailey Middleton of Nahunta, Thad Middleton of Bachlott, Brody Tuff “Bobo” Middleton of Brunswick and Cason Newman of Bachlott;7 great grandchildren, Elsie Middleton, Jeb Middleton, Harper Able, Addie Middleton, Hudson Middleton, Baylor Sumner and Landree Middleton. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (February 28, 2024) from 6PM-9PM at Mr. Greg’s residence; 3881 Bachlott Church Rd. Nahunta, GA 31553.  

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday afternoon (February 29, 2024) at 3PM at Bachlott Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Allen officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chevi Middleton, Gerald Johns, Wayne Harris, Jason Middleton, Garrett Able, Thad Middleton, Bobo Middleton, and George Middleton.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
