Grace Elaine Harvey Lain

Brunswick- Grace Elaine Harvey Lain, 69 of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday morning (February 20, 2018) at her daughter’s residence following an extended illness.

Born in Pelzer, SC her parents were Tom Sam and Edith Neal Harvey. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Henry Blease Lain, Jr.; and a grandson, Rocky Flowers, Jr.

Grace was a homemaker and a member of Brunswick Church of God of Prophecy. She loved spending time with family, working in her yards, cooking, and serving others.

Survivors include her 3 children and their spouses, Henry J. Lain (Debra), of Piedmont, SC., Timeka G. Flowers (Rocky), of Hortense, GA and Ayhan T. Lain (Jennifer), of Novi, MI.; 7 grandchildren, Daniel Lain, David Lain, Roxie Flowers, John King, Rebekah King, Hannah Lain, and Caroline Henry; 2 great grandchildren; Natalie Lain and David Lain, Jr.; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Tommy Harvey, Sr. and Billy Harvey, Sr. (Linda) all of Pelzer, SC; 2 step sisters, Vanessa Porter and Sandra Philips; 2 sisters-in-law and their spouses, Betty Bellew (MC) of Goose Creek, SC and Joann Bonthorne of Ormond Beach, FL; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Friday evening (February 23, 2018) from 6PM – 9PM at Frye Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday afternoon (February 24, 2018) at 2PM at Hortense Church of God of Prophecy with Bishop Keith Burch, Bishop Rob Hutto, and Rev. Rosalia Cox officiating.

Burial will follow in Hortense Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Flowers, Curtis Tompkins, James Holland, Gene Oglesby, Wayne Thigpen, Joey Manning, Jimmy Robertson, and Alton Rowland.

Family and pallbearers are asked to meet at the church Saturday afternoon by 1:30PM

Family will be receiving friends at Rocky and Timeka Flowers’ residence at 135 Ross Rd Hortense GA 31543.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
