Gina Lott Smith

Gina Latona Lott Smith, 62, of Nahunta passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Douglas, GA to Herman Levon and Elmarie Davis Lott. Mrs. Smith retired from a Home Health Agency as Secretary. She loved to sew, cross stitch, growing flowers, fishing, and taking pictures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Levon and Elmarie Davis Lott.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Ray David Smith of Nahunta; one son, James Nugent of Hortense; one daughter, Jessica Nugent Lane of Adel; two step-sons, David Ray Smith (wife Jenna) of Nahunta, and Justin Luther Smith of Nahunta; one step-daughter, Kathryn Diane Smith of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Kyson Lane, Branson Smith, Zayne Smith, Ava Smith, Kayla Legrear, Kira Legrear, and Kamryn Davis; one great granddaughter, Zoey Legrear; two sisters, Vicki Heath and Lynn Royal both of Willacoochee; one brother, Ricky Lott (wife Peggy) of Willacoochee; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 1 pm until 2 pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 2 pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with David Sirmans and Rev. Stevie Sirmans officiating.
