Gerald Wayne Robinson

Nahunta – Gerald Wayne Robinson, 53 of Nahunta passed away Wednesday morning  (August 9, 2023) at Memorial Health in Savannah after a brief illness. 

Born in Glenwood, GA his parents were Roy Darrell Robinson and Pearline Turner Straight. He is also preceded in death by his stepfather, James Straight; and 2 sisters, Angela Robinson and  Angie Bradham.

Gerald loved playing with his grandchildren, painting cars, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Mary Robinson of Nahunta; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew Robinson (Michalia) of Callahan, FL, Jason Thomason (Candace) of Hortense and Justin Robinson (Kayla) of Waynesville; a daughter, Ashley Robinson of Nahunta;  grandchildren, A.J. Leggett, Aiden Leggett, Alex Thomason, Nicholas Thomason and McKenzie Thomason;  brothers and a sister-in-law, Johnny Robinson of Hortense, John Watson (Myra) of Hortense and Tony Robinson of TX; a sister and brother-in-law, Amy James (D.J.) of Claxton; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
