Frankie Earlene Helton Stephens

Waynesville – Frankie Helton Stephens, 57, of Waynesville, GA gained her wings December 12, 2022.

Frankie was born on March 6, 1965 to Donald and Rosita Helton in Rome, GA. She then went on to graduate high school at Union High School in Blairsville, GA. She spent many years of her life living in the mountains of Georgia where she touched the lives of many. She spent some time in Marietta before making her home in Waynesville, GA. Here she became friends to so many people, filling their lives with joy. Everyone that knew Frankie knew the love she had for her family. She would always make time to help someone in need. Anytime someone needed comforting or a voice of reason, Frankie was always there. There was no such thing as a stray animal. She made sure that they were fed and loved and would find them a loving home.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Donald and Rosita Helton; her sister, Lillie & Junior Dockery; her son, Fred Cooper (forever 12); her stepdaughter, Amanda Stephens; her brother-in-law, Edgar Lee; and her niece, April Lee.

She is survived by and loved by her husband, Dave Stephens of Waynesville; her son, Justin Helton of Waynesville; a stepson, Zachary Stephens of WI ; her granddaughters, Rhianna & Gracie of Waynesville, GA; grandson, Jacob of Waynesville, GA; her god grandson, Ian of Waynesville, GA; her brother, Kenneth Helton of Calhoun, GA; her sisters, Carolyn & Ronald Dunn and Tracy Allen all of Calhoun, GA and Rosita Lee of Blairsville, GA; and also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends all of whose hearts she touched.

A visitation will be held Saturday afternoon (December 17, 2022) from 2pm – 4pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
