Francis James Dishey

Hortense – Francis James Dishey, 81, of Hortense passed away Monday morning (April 27, 2020) at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Bridgeport, CT his parents were Joseph Dishey and Margaret Sarah Lally Dishey.

Francis was a retired truck driver and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a jack of all trades and loved tinkering with things in his spare time and enjoyed picking on people.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Ann Osborne Dishey of Hortense; a son, Francis James “Butch” Dishey, Jr, of CT; 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl Corrado of CT, Laurie Kennedy (Mike) of CT and Kim Collins of Hortense; 8 grandchildren, Brenton, Christopher, Alissa, Michael, Jenna, Amanda, Brian and Chad; 2 great grandchildren, Alex and Novah; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Dishey of Iowa and Jackie Dishey (Joan) of CT; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to the COVID-19, the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
