Frances 'Melinda' Drawdy Kitchens

Hortense-Frances Melinda Drawdy Kitchens, 64 of Hortense, passed away Monday (September 21, 2015) at Southeast Georgia Health System following an extended illness. Born in Waycross, GA., her parents were Hugh Drawdy and Frances Strickland Sheffield. Frances worked many years as a Convenient Store Manager, she was a hard worker and loved to help people. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Katie McGuirt (Chris), of Hortense, Terri Lohr (Bryan); six grandchildren, Allison McGuirt, Hunter McGuirt, Jeffrey Boillard, Gary Boillard, Brandy Boillard, Tyler Lohr; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Roxanne Lynch (Ron), of Hortense, Trudie Lee (Larry), of St. Mary's; and a brother, Rudy Smith, of St. Mary's.
