Eva R. Osborne

Eva R. Osborne (Nana), 85, of Brantley County, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health in Brunswick following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Lawson and Gladys Bennett. Mrs. Osborne spent many years living in Douglas, GA, where she worked in banking and eventually retired from Atlantic Coast Federal Credit Union in 2007. In 1999, she moved to Brantley County, where she found joy in relaxing in her gazebo and, most importantly, in spending time with her family. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Osborne; one son, Gary Sirmans.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Sirmans of Hortense; three grandchildren, Christopher and Joy Sirmans of Hickox, Satilla Sirmans of Sylvester, GA, and Kalee Sirmans of Pearson, GA; six great-grandchildren, Jerrin Sirmans, Cora Tillery, Gage Copeland, Kayden Lepe, Audriona Morales, and Aria Sirmans; a host of nieces and nephews; special recognition to three cousins who were like sisters to her, Deloris Haddock, Ann McGee, and Joyce Moore, also friend and neighbor, Stanley T. Wall.

Visitation will be held Tuesday morning, August 5, 2025 from 10 am until 11 am at the Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11 am at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
