Waynesville – Duane David Dowell, II, 31 passed away Wednesday (October 20, 2021) in Brunswick.
Born in Brunswick his parents are Duane Dowell, Sr of Waynesville and Shannon Lee Hardwick of Brunswick. He is preceded in death by his brother, Cody James Dowell.
Duane was an installer for Dowell & Sons Flooring and loved fishing, mud bogging, riding four wheelers, and going to the river.
Survivors include his 2 daughters, Allyson Dowell and Makensey Dowell of Waynesville; his father and stepmother, Duane & Andrea Dowell, Sr. of Waynesville; his mother, Shannon Hardwick of Brunswick; a brother, Byron Clay of TN; 2 sisters, April Nolan and Amber Nolan; his nephew, Chandler Dowell; paternal grandmother, Norma Dowell of Lilburn, GA; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Hardwick of Brunswick; his cousins, Amanda & Ryan Stanfield of Waynesville, Crystal Reva of Live Oak, FL, Ambrose Janitra, Maddylyn Janitra, Mason Stanfield, and Paisley Stanfield; aunts and uncles, Karen & Tobias Janitra of Statesboro, William Dowell of Tallahassee, FL, William Joseph Dowell of Lilburn, GA, Patrick Dowell of Lilburn, GA, Paula & Dave Hubert of Tallahassee, FL, John Dowell and Kevin Hardwick; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday afternoon (October 24, 2021) from 1pm-2pm at Frye Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at Sunday afternoon (October 24, 2021) at 2pm at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
