Dorothy Bean

Jacksonville, Fl. – Dorothy O’Lean Johns Bean, 64 of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville after an extended illness.

She loved cooking, watching tv and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Johns and Mildred McInvale Johns.

Survivors include her son Kevin Bean wife Amanda Lewis of Virginia; two brothers John W. Johns of Hortense, Jeffery Johns wife Darlene of Folkston; a sister Lillie Edna Davis husband Richard of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren Kyle Tyler Bean, Skyler Elizabeth Bean, Isabelle Allison Bean, Marley Faye Bean, Whitney Paige Bean, Kristin Marie Bean, Kinsley Seven Bean, and Lylah Diane Rainbow Walker Fitzgerald. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13 starting at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 14 at Corrinth Cemetery at 10:00 am officiated by the Rev. Ray McMillan.

Pallbearers are James Keen, Kyle Bean, Jeffery Johns, Wayne Johns, Keith McInvale, and John Willie Johns.
