Donnie Edwin Harrison

Hortense – Donnie Edwin Harrison, 79, of Hortense passed away early Thursday morning (August 17, 2023) at Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA his parents were Willie K. “W.K.” Harrison and Dorothy Drury Harrison. He is also preceded in death by a son, CWO3 Geoffery Shawn Harrison.

Donnie was retired from Hercules as a powerhouse engineer. He also loved hunting, watching NASCAR and Georgia Bulldog football.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Keith Harrison (Julie) of Peoria, AZ; a daughter, Nicole Harrison of Hortense; 5 grandchildren, Kyra Harrison, Kaley Harrison, Bryson James Justice, Teagan Grae Justice and Everly Mae Kersey; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon (August 19, 2023) at 2pm at Waynesville Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
