Donna Faye Straight

Brunswick – Donna “Faye” Daniels Straight, 68, of Brunswick passed away Wednesday afternoon (August 9, 2023) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA her parents were Matthew Wilbert Daniels, Sr. and Betty Jean Spradley Daniels. She is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Donald Daniels, Joseph Daniels, Ronald Daniels and James Daniels; and 2 sisters, Betty McCarty and Janie Turner.

Faye retired from Coastal Hardware as a forklift driver and was of the Baptist faith.  She loving spending time with her family especially her grandkids and watching game shows.

Survivors include her husband, Gail Straight of Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Daniels (Brandy) of Gibson, GA; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Gandy (Frank), Casey Duarte (Sean) and Melinda Straight (Mike Pickens) all of Brunswick; 9 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Daniels, Blake Daniels, Elizabeth Daniels, Hope Gandy, Emily Hall, Noah Duarte, Sean Duarte, Jr.,  Lindsey Duarte and Eathen Duarte; 2 brothers, Richard Daniels of Waynesville and Mack Daniels of Ludowici; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Crosby (Melvin) and Dolly Green (Jeffrey) all of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday (August 12, 2023) starting at 10am at Frye Funeral Home.

A funeral  service will be held Saturday morning (August 12, 2023) at 11am at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron  Gandy, Victor Hanson, Tony Turner, Joshua Daniels, Chad Head and Jeffrey Green.

Arrangements are with  Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
