Mrs. Sheryl Dianne Crews Griffin,73, of Folkston passed away Friday evening (Aug.21,2020) in The St. Vincent’s Southside in Jacksonville, FL. after an extended illness.

Born in Folkston, Georgia her parents were Ervin and Thelma Thrift Crews. She was also preceded by her husband, Ray Griffin, a daughter, Sheila Elizabeth Miller, her brother, Wallace Lavon Crews and a sister, Juanita Elaine Crews.

Mrs. Griffin attended The Riverside Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was retired from The Hartwell Pants Factory where she served as a Trainer Supervisor. An avid reader she also enjoyed cooking watching T.V. and most of all spending time with her family.

Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Terry Blaine and Melissa Griffin, of Nahunta, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl Rae and Matias Lemuz, of Nahunta, Thelma Dawn and Candi Rebollo, of Folkston, 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin Ann Batten (David), of Nahunta and Debbie Lynette Forrister (Richard), of Folkston, 8 grandchildren, Brandi, Katrina Griffin, Terriray Griffin, Amber Miller, Chase Miller, Mason Batten, Angie Crews and William Crews, 17 great grandchildren also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Monday evening (Aug 24,2020) starting at 6 P.M. at The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday (Aug. 25,2020) at 11 A.M. at The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright and Rev. Ion Johns officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wallace Crews, Jacob Crews, Randy Batten, Ryan Crews, Michael Griffin, Paul Smith, William Crews and Chase Miller.

Honorary Pallbearers are Charles Crews and David Batten.

Burial will follow in The Bethlehem Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the Family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
