Dettra Crews

Nahunta – Dettra Crews, 68, of Nahunta passed away Monday January 22, 2024) at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA his parent were Hammer Crews and Julia Griffin Crews. He is also preceded in death by an infant son; and a brother, William Corbitt Crews.

Dettra was a boilermaker for Local Union 199 , a Mason and a member of Raybon Advent Christian Church. He was a great carpenter. He loved deer and coon hunting and fishing.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
