Deborah Friedley

Hortense – Deborah Crosby Friedley, 62, of Hortense passed away Tuesday morning (November 5, 2019) at Folkston Park after an extended illness.

Born in Jacksonville, NC her parents are Pearl Gay Crosby of Yulee, FL and the late Everett Crosby. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Susan Lewis.

Deborah was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved animals and going to the beach.

Survivors include her son and a daughter-in-law, Ray & Connie Blair of Waynesville, GA; a daughter, Lorie Blair of Hortense; 2 grandchildren, Brian Partin and Brittney Siets of Hortense; 3 brothers, Bucky Crosby, Herman Crosby, and Bradley Crosby all of Yulee, FL; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Rachel & Greg Thompson of Yulee, FL and Renee & Randy Hill of Hilliard, FL; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday afternoon (November 8, 2019) starting at 12PM at Frye Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon (November 8, 2019) starting at 1PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
