Danny Lamar Drury

Patterson – Danny Lamar Drury, 72, of Patterson passed away Tuesday afternoon (October 26, 2021) at Memorial Satilla Hospital in Waycross after a brief illness.
Born in Jesup, GA his parents were Mack Dearin Drury and Berniece Rowell Waters. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Ward.
Danny was a retired welder for Brown & Root Construction and a member of Community Baptist Church in Waycross. He loved gardening and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Eunice Drury of Patterson; a son, Mack Dearin Drury of Homerville;2 daughters, Michell Drury and Jennifer Drury; 5 grandchildren, Kaylei Drury, Micah Drury, Kayden Drury, Presley Drury and Cora Grace Drury; a sister, Sandra Davis of Blackshear; an uncle and aunt, Winston & Inge Drury of Hortense; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday (October 29, 2021) starting at 1pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (October 29, 2021) at 2pm at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Weathersby and Pastor Ralph Ramey officiating.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
