Cynthia "Cindy" Mary Crews Velat Johns, 41, of Hortense died Sunday night (November 1, 2009) at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Brunswick, GA her parents are Harry Marvin and Helen Lane Crews of Hortense. She was a waitress and attended Satilla Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Tony Johns of Hortense; 2 children, Timothy Ashton Davis and Sharama Helena Davis both of Hortense; a grandchild; her parents, Harry & Helen Crews of Hortense; 2 brothers, Mark Crews and Jody Crews of Hortense; also several nephews, a niece and other relatives.
