Chelsie Diana Stone

Hortense – Chelsie Diana Stone, 21, of Hortense passed away Wednesday evening (May 6, 2020) at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah after an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents are Robert Stone of Atkinson and Katie Ward Horton of Hortense. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents James and Sarah Stone.

Chelsie attended Under his Wings Church and Little Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Katie Horton (Jesse) of Hortense; father and stepmother, Robert Stone (Celia)of Atkinson; 2 sisters, Hayden Stone (Justin) and Victoria Holloway (Kailee) all of Hortense; fiancé, Cody Shaffer of Hortense; maternal grandparents, Bobby & Peggy Ward of Hortense; 3 nieces, Emma Daniels, Paisley Daniels and Harper Waters all of Hortense; and also several other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19, the family will be having a private graveside service Monday (May 11, 2020) at Little Memorial Cemetery.
