Charles Lee Lair

Waynesville – Charles Lee Lair, 63, of Waynesville passed away Friday morning (July 5, 2024) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Edmond, OK his parents were John William Lair and Sandra Lee Hunter Lair. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Pam Lair.

Charles was a manager at RSC Logistics and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved going to the mountains, riding motorcycles, Harleys, hanging with his motorcycle brothers and just lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include his life companion, Cynthia Hargrove of Waynesville; son and daughter-in-law, Kyle Lair (Jennifer) of SC; daughter and son-in-law, Lonnie Carpenter (Steven) of SC; 2 stepdaughters, Brandy Hopkins (John) of Brunswick and April Boatright of Waynesville; 6 grandchildren, Charels Lair, Bentley Carpenter, Holli Carpenter, Chloe Carpenter, Alice N. Right, and Emily Fountain; 2 sisters, Nina Kaufman of FL and Lori Simmons of OK; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday afternoon (July 10, 2024) at 1pm at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
