Casey Christopher Reaves

Hortense – Casey Christopher Reaves, 40, of Hortense passed away Monday morning (July 15, 2019) at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Savannah, GA his parents are Dianna Taylor Murphy and the late Eddie Reaves.

Casey was a landscaper and enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, fishing and hunting. He loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Dianna & Stephen Murphy of Hortense; 2 brothers, Cameron Reaves of Brunswick and Chad Murphy of Hortense; 2 sisters, Shannon Ribron of Alma and Shellie Reaves of Brunswick. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Friday (July 19, 2019) at 11am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Gill officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday starting at 10am.

Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
