Carly Ree Woodson

Carly Ree Woodson, 27 of Hortense, passed away suddenly Sunday morning (May 2, 2021).

Born in Waycross, GA., her parents are Charles Richard “Rick” Woodson, of Jesup and Juanita Dixon Woodson, of Hortense. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alli Rae Woodson; her maternal grandmother, Avie Wanette Johnson; paternal grandparents, Charlie Woodson and Ethel Cook; 2 aunts, Lynn Woodson and Delores Dixon.

Carly loved her family, fishing, music, going to the river, riding four-wheelers, and being outdoors. She worked as a Door Dash Driver and attended Raybon Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include her mother, Juanita Dixon Woodson, of Hortense; her father and step mother, Charles “Rick” Woodson (Deborah), of Jesup; her sister, Melanie Robinson, of Washington State; paternal grandmother, Nancy Woodson, of Jesup; aunts and uncles, Robert Woodson (Sandi), of Jesup, Randy Woodson, also of Jesup, George Dixon (Rhonda), of Hickox, Sheryl Waters (Tony), Bobby Ellis Johnson, all of Atkinson; great aunts, Barbara Jean Schuster, of Fernandina Beach, FL, Nadine Taylor and Annie Lou Williams, both of Hickox. Also several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening (May 6, 2021) from 6PM-9PM at Frye Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held Friday morning (May 7, 2021) at 11AM at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Eric Dixon officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brett Moody, Stevens Harris, Marcus Dreggors, Jermery Woodson, and Will Woodson.

Due to COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
