Waverly – Cameron Lee Lane, 32, of Waverly, passed away suddenly Wednesday (June 7, 2023).

Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents are Hank W. Lane and Joyce Hicks Lane of Waverly. He is preceded in death by grandparents, James and Eleanor Hicks; great grandmother, Marguerite Crum; great grandfather, Albert Wilson; 1 aunt, Diane Floyd; 2 great uncles, Buckshot and Tommy Thompson.

Cameron was employed with I.A.P. as a laborer. He loved football, swimming, art, baseball, and most of all he loved his kids and his family.

Survivors include 1 son, Braylon Lane of Woodbine; 1 daughter, Callie Jade Lane of Waverly; his parents, Hank and Joyce Lane of Waverly; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Candace Lane Whalen (Joseph) of Waverly; grandparents, Dennis & Brenda Perry of Waverly; fiance’, Amber Parrott of Waverly; 1 uncle, Royce Strickland; 3 nieces, Bayleigh, Bella, and Brooklyn; 3 nephews, Branson, Cooper, and Walker; 4 cousins, Brenda and Bree Crews, Diamond and Skylar Strickland. Also several other aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

No services will be held at this time.
