Caled Elias Kea

Waynesville – Caled Elias Kea, 24, of Waynesville passed away Sunday (November 10, 2024) at his residence.

Born in Dublin, GA his parents are Stephanie Mumford and Deric Kea.

Caled was a firefighter for Waynesville Fire Department. He loved being a firefighter, playing video games and loved his dogs.

Survivors include his mother, Stephanie Mumford of St. Simons; her father, Deric Kea; his brother and sister-in-law, Donovan Norris (Lucia) of St. Simons; a niece, Giovanni; his stepfather, Dave Simpson of Atlanta; his maternal grandmother, Loretta Mumford of Brunswick; 2 uncles, Jonathan Mumford of Atlanta and Joey Mumford of Brunswick; and also several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
