Bowen Scott Wainright

Claxton-Infant Bowen “Bobo” Scott Wainright, 3, of Claxton passed away Monday (August 3, 2020).

Born in Jesup, GA, his parents are Rev. Randy Liston and Torie Johns Wainright of Claxton, GA. Bowen is preceded in death by his nana; Stephanie Manning Wainright, Great Grandparents; Rev. Wayne Manning, Sr., J.O. Johns, and Louise Wainright, and his uncle Barrett Johns.

Bowen loved watching his cartoon shows, eating junk food, playing with animals, and playing in the mud. He loved being outdoors and was a very lovable little guy. Always had a beautiful smile and grin on his face.

He is survived by his parents, Rev. Randy Liston and Torie Wainright of Claxton, GA. a sister, Stella Louise Wainright and an infant brother, Eli Liston Wainright. Paternal Grandfather, Rev. Randy Wainright, Sr. of Jesup, GA., and Maternal Grandparents, Greg and Joan Johns of Inverness, FL. Great Grandparents, Dianne Manning of Jesup, GA., Tressa Johns of Hickox, GA., and Emma Lee Morris of Brunswick, GA., Aunts and their spouses, Kandace and Eric Hickox of Waycross, GA., Spenser Wainright of Jesup, GA., Amanda and Shannon Phillips of Inverness, FL., Cousins, Brinson Wayne Hickox of Waycross, GA., and Jameson Barrett Phillips of Inverness, FL. Also, several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening (August 6,2020) starting at 6PM at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Friday morning (August 7, 2020) at 11 AM at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne “Rooster” Manning, Jr., Rev. Randy Liston Wainright, Sr., and Rev. Greg Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverside Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Corbett Brockington, Jake Brockington, Blake Brockington, Jon Dillon Brockington, Kyle Giddens, Cole Giddens, Trey Manning and Alex Manning.
