Bobby Ray Warren

Nahunta- Bobby Ray Warren, 64 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (January 19, 2014) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross following a short illness. Born in Nahunta, GA his parents were Amos and Mattie Elizabeth Highsmith Warren. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, James "Pee Wee" Warren and Freddie Warren. Bobby was a member of Nahunta First Baptist Church, and employed with Okefenoke Rural Electric Membership Corporation as a Draftman. He loved to mechanic on antique cars. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kathy Crews Warren, of Nahunta; a son, Adam Warren, of Nahunta; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen Rosas (Julio), of Macon; 3 grandchildren, Caitlynn Warren, Jessica Rosas, and Jaqueline Rosas; a brother, Robert Warren, of Brunswick; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Josephine "Jo" Warren, of Augusta, Dolly Swilley (Don Lee), also of Augusta. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (January 21, 2014) at 6PM , at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning (January 22, 2014) at 11 AM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Hickox. Pallbearers will be Adam Warren, Julio Rosas, Lamar Crews, Ronnie Crews, David Garrett, Franklin Crews. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Middleton, Larry Griffin, Danny Moody, Tony Rowell, and Howard McLeod and the employees of Okefenoke Rural Electric Membership Corporation.
