Bill Norris Ribbon

Nahunta – Bill Norris Ribbon, 76, of Nahunta passed away Saturday morning (March 21, 2026) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Waynesville, GA his parents were Minin Ribbon and Mary Miller Ammons. He is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Melvin Ribbon, Albert Ribbon, George Ammons and Marty Ammons; and a sister, Betty Strickland.

Bill served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and loved working in his yard and cooking.

Survivors include 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Libby Hagen (Charles) and Pam Hendrix all of Hoboken; a sister-in-law, Doris Ribbon of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
