Betsy Kitchens Reid

Waycross- Betsy Kitchens Reid, 76 of Waycross, passed away Friday (July 22, 2022) at Baptist Village Nursing Home, in Waycross following an extended illness.
Born in Grovetown, GA., her parents were Horace Greeley Kitchens and Gertie B. Shelton Kitchens. She was also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.
Betsy worked many years in Radio and Auto Sales and attended Gilchrist Church of God of Prophecy. She loved yard sales, NASCAR Racing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy C. Reid, Jr. (Katie), of Maryville, TN.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Carter (Charlie), of Blackshear, and Margie Reid Byrd, of Waycross; 9 grandchildren, Sierra Shreve, Zowie Reid, Zamen Reid, Jordan Edwards (Christian), Jenna Douberly, Julie Cooper (Buck), Emily Cooper, Lauren Jones, and Ashlyn Jones United Sates Air Force, Aviano, Italy; 4 great grandchildren, Blakeley Hardesty, Paisley Strickland, Kasen Cooper, and Jackson Bowen; brother and sister-in-law, Mack Kitchens (Barbara), of Grovetown, GA.; and a sister, Joyce Rollins, of Augusta; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will be having a private Memorial Service at a later date.
