Bart Jacobs

Hoboken-Bart Jacobs, 67, of Hoboken passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA to Tobie James Jacobs and the late Lavenia Thrift Jacobs.

Bart was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He never met any strangers and had the biggest heart. He was a hard worker, farmer, liked to travel, fish, ride four wheelers and motorcycles and was known as South Georgia’s Evil Knievel, and had many facebook friends who loved to hear from him. Bart will be forever loved and missed by all those who knew him.

Survivors include his son BJ Jacobs; his daughter Kala Jacobs (Larry Dasher); his father Tobie Jacobs; two sisters Tammy Jacobs and Angela Barnwell; three grandchildren Jadyn Jacobs, Christian Dasher and Jase Dasher; fiancé Elizabeth Kendrick; special nephew Levi Crews; niece Ivee Crews; nephew Marvin Crews; special friends Elliott Thrift and Rhy Sturm-Thrift; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2026, from 5-7 pm at Frye Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at Springhill Cemetery on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Honorary Pallbearers include Jody Dreggors, Jimmy Clem (Monkey), Tom McCutcheon and Elliott Thrift.
