Barbara Ann Sellers

Brunswick – Barbara Ann Waters Sellers, 84, of Brunswick passed away Sunday (May 24, 2026) at Jesup Ridge in Jesup, GA., after an extended illness.

Born in Claxton, GA. her parents were Beecher Lanier Waters and Annie Ruth Collins Sloan. She is also preceded in death by a son, Bryan Nettles; 2 brothers, John Waters and Beach Waters.

Barbara had worked for Morrison’s cafeteria for 18 years and then worked for Manning Aviation as an accountant in which she was the first person to retire from there. She loved to mow grass, enjoyed walking, and going to the beach. She was a real people person and most of all she loved spending time with the grandkids and her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Prescott of Brunswick; 4 grandchildren, Liza Hawkins (Drew), Brandy Lovett (Hobbit), Macy Lee (Trent), and Shelby Mayfield (Lee); 9 great grandchildren, Anderson, Knox, Paighcee, Hayze, Jaelynn, Tilly, Memphis, Stetson, and Khloe; a daughter-in-law, Gail Nettles of Brunswick; best friend for 70 years, Dorothea Taylor and her son, Robbie; also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Brewton Cemetery.
