Barbara Keene Spradley

Nahunta- Barbara Keene Spradley, 79 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (February 13, 2022) at Bayview Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Born in Waverly, GA., her parents were Osgood Alton Keene and Inez King Keene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Morris Spradley; her son, Robert Spradley; two brothers, Osgood Keene and Franklin Keene; two sisters, Ruby Johnson and Katherine Sandiford.
Barbara worked many years as a Cook for Choo Choo BBQ. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved her family and taking care of them.
Survivors include her two grandsons, Cody Spradley and JoJo Spradley; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Roy Keene (Pauline), of Waverly, and James Robert Keene, of Jesup; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Marguerite Crum, of Waverly, Hilda Belanger, of Atkinson, and Linda Smith (Wayne), of Blackshear. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday (February 16, 2022) at 2PM at Mars Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jason King officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service, at the cemetery.
