Barbara Ann Hopton

Barbara Ann Hopton, 77, of Hoboken passed away Saturday afternoon (May 9, 2020) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after an extended illness.

Born in Jacksonville, FL her parents were Robert and Merle Williams. She is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Penny Davis and Linda Flake; and 2 brothers, Robert Williams and Richard Williams.

Barbara was a shrimper on the Miss Rosa Boat for many years and a jack of all trades. She loved her grandchildren, sewing, watching soap operas, making flower arrangements and talking on her phone.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Duane Hopton(Frances) and Douglas Darnell Hopton(Retha) all of Hoboken; 2 daughters, Deborah Delores Macaluso (fiancé Steve) of Valdosta and Dawn Donnise Crews of Hoboken; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, John Williams (Lori) of Okeechobee, FL; a sister, Trudie McCormick of Waycross; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will be having a celebration of life Saturday (May 30, 2020) at Barbara Residence, 2042 Saddle Club Rd Hoboken GA 31542.
