Archie Junior Daniels

Waynesville – Archie Junior Daniels, 91, of Waynesville passed away Wednesday morning (October 9, 2019) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waynesville, GA., his parents were James Daniels and Julia Rozier Daniels McKenzie. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ella Nadine Brockington Daniels; his son, Archie James “Jimmy” Daniels; daughter, Barbara Nadine Thompson; two brothers, Eulis Daniels and Colton Daniels; two sisters, Louise Keene and Loree Kelly.

Mr. Archie was a member of Horsestamp United Methodist Church. He worked many years for the Brantley County Road Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved fishing, growing flowers, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Julia Rowell (Fiancé, Tracy Herrin) of Waynesville; 7 grandchildren, Marie Knecht, Bryan Cox, Dalton Rowell, Kimberlynn Rowell, Dylan Rowell, Nancy Spradley, and Steve Willis; many loved great grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis Daniels (Mildred), of Waynesville; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Faye Head, of Waverly, and Mae Cantrell (Bill), of Blue Ridge, GA. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday (October 11, 2019) at 11AM at Daniels Cemetery in Waynesville with Rev. Bill Johns officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Cox, Dalton Rowell, Kimberlynn Rowell, Dylan Rowell, Tracy Herrin, and Corey Knecht.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
