Angel Antonio Fontanez

Nahunta- Mr. Angel Antonio Fontanez, 46, of Nahunta died suddenly Monday (June 6, 2011) at his residence. Born in Bronx, NY his parents are Angel and Ana Cortez Fontanez. Angel was a sheriff deputy for the Camden County Sheriffs Department and attended Bay Harbor Church of God. He loved spending time with his family and friends, always had a smile on his face, and was just a great person all around. Survivors include 1 son, Shane Whitford of Atkinson;parents, Angel and Ana Celia Fontanez of New York; a brother and sister-in-law, Rody and Melinda Rosaly of New York; a niece and nephew, Mindy Rosaly and Rody Rosaly, Jr. both of New York; and also several aunts, uncles and other relatives. Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
