Amy Joyce Rowell

Brunswick – Amy Joyce Rowell, 56, of Brunswick passed away Wednesday afternoon (June 14, 2023) in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents are Dale Sloan Weniger and the late Jerry W. Rowell. She is also preceded in death by an infant grandchild, Zaedyn Corley; maternal grandparents, Raleigh & Juanita Sloan; and her paternal  grandparents, Hardie & Ernie Rowell.

Amy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed talking to people and was just a people person.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Lee of Brunswick; a daughter, Brittani Corley of Brunswick; a grandchild, Skillar Coleman; her mother and stepfather, Dale Sloan Weniger (Dennis) of Broxton; her brother and sister-in-law, Kelly Rowell (Susan) of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday morning (June 17, 2023) from 10:30am -11:00am at Satilla Cemetery.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning (June 17, 2023) at 11am at Satilla Cemetery with Bro. Den Weniger officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.
