Amy Irene Kelly

Nahunta – Amy Irene Kelly, 52, of Nahunta passed away Friday afternoon (September 23, 2022) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after a brief illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA her parents are Donna Powell Kelly of Nahunta and the late Gerald Marvin Kelly. She is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Marvin & Mildred Kelly, and her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Lewis.

Amy loved her family, being with her friends and taking care of people.

Survivors include her daughter, Brittany Henderson of Waverly; her mother, Donna Kelly of Nahunta; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa & Teddy Gibson of Raybon and Dana & Jim Miller of Hickox; her aunts and uncles, Joan & Clinton Sweat of Waynesville, Roger & Donna Lewis and Frances Edith Lewis all of Woodbine; a dear friend, Virgil Willis of Nahunta; and also, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held Monday (October 10, 2022) at 11am at Smyrna Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Dean officiating. 

The family will be receiving family and friends on Monday (October 10, 2022) after the service at Dana & Jim Miller’s residence, 1275 Caney Bay Rd Nahunta, GA 31553.
