Allen L. Bell

Hortense- Allen Leslie Bell, 64 of Hortense, passed away Wednesday morning (December 27, 2017) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Hahira, GA., his parents were Thomas Alton Bell and Prudence Redding Bell. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Nail.

Allen was a member of Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, farming, family get togethers, and loved to BBQ. He worked many years as a fabricator for Reddick Sheet Metal.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Wilson Bell, of Hortense; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Shannon Willis, of Brantley Co., Jason Bell (Terri), of Lincoln, Nebraska; a daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay Stallard (Russell), of Darien, GA.; eight grandchildren, Breena Willis, of Atkinson, Jeremy Fricke, Chelsea Fricke, Jordan Fricke, Madisen Bell, and Foster Bell, all of Lincoln, Nebraska, Cooper Stallard and Bailey Stallard, both of Brunswick; two great grandchildren, Aubree Cothren and Braxten Howard; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles Bell (Marie). Also several other family members.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday (January 2, 2018) at 2PM at Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Carr and Rev. Emory Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery, Brunswick, GA.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Fricke, Foster Bell, Russell Stallard, Russ Edgy, Charles Boyd, and Damon Rozier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Braxten Howard, Bob Melvin, and Bradley Young.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
